Mizkan America, Inc. owns the Bertolli trademark; its family-owned parent group, Mizkan Group, is headquartered in Japan. A 2023 WIPO decision identifies Deoleo as a worldwide licensee of the mark, and its site features Bertolli olive oil. The oil line is outside this rating. The Bertolli site says Francesco Bertolli opened a delicatessen in Lucca in 1865.
