Spaten is a German beer brand of Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu GmbH in Munich, part of the AB InBev group. The brewery brought the first Munich Helles to the market in 1894, and the beer is brewed at the group's Munich site, one of four AB InBev production sites in Germany.
